His Excellency Julius Maada Bio, He is deeply honoured to have been appointed as an Eminent Person of the G7+ countries. Over the past decade, this coalition has worked collaboratively to support member states in their transition from fragility to resilience, contributing meaningfully to peacebuilding efforts and advocating for inclusive reforms in global governance.
As we formally hand over the leadership of the G7+ to the Solomon Islands, we reaffirm our collective commitment to upholding the core principles that unite us. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Government of Timor-Leste for its continued support of the G7+ Secretariat and its unwavering dedication to the vision of our alliance.
